Enchantment of the Black Dog

Enchantment of the Black Dog

A phantom Black Dog is roaming the Isle of Portland, looking for Isabel Maydew, and the sinister island mermaid wants to enslave him. Isabel travels across time with a pack of snow wolves to discover the history of this phantom dog. She voyages through Ice Age snowstorms and meets his only friend, Stella Groves, as Civil War reaches Dorset in 1642.

Isabel is not the only person pursuing the black dog. Surf-dude Ryder is also on his tail. So is the Southwell fairy, who decides that he’s a dangerous werewolf. Isabel’s arch-enemy Miranda Greychurch is also determined to capture the black dog. Meanwhile her sister Suzie, who is now the star of a reality TV show, and Gregor the scruffy farm sheepdog, also have a paw in the story.

Will Isabel piece together the clues from the past? Or is the black dog’s fate written in the stars that sparkle over the Isle of Portland at night?
